Comedy Cottage: Our monthly Comedy Club!

Top TV circuit & International comedians perform alongside rising stars of the future. We always aim for a smorgasbord of a line-up, offering something for everyone. On the last Friday of the month, the Comedy Cottage take over our largest function room bringing you the hottest local comedians from the circuit.  Tickets are just £11 and doors open at 7.30pm.

Kicking off the year we have a gorgeous smorgasbord of talented acts waiting to entertain you. 

Headlining is an old Cottage Fave who's career has gone from strength to strength and we are very proud of all he as achieved, it's only right he should return to a hero's welcome, since he last played at the cottage, he has been a finalist in 8 comedy competitions, had a sell out Run at the Soho Theater, his own Radio 4 series. Written and performed 3 consecutive smash hit sell out shows. He has also appeared on The Last Leg (C4), Mock the Week (BBC Two), Live From the BBC (BBC Two), Man Like Mobeen (BBC Three), Kevin Hart’s Live from Montreal (LOL Network), Virtually Famous (E4), The Now Show (BBC Radio 4) and made a brand new quiz show pilot for Vice. He has also written and starred in his own scripted comedy shorts for BBC Three, BBC iPlayer and Sky Arts. Most recently he appeared as a guest on 'I'm a celebrity, get me out of here'

Iranian born journalist/Comedian/Writer

Brother of comedian Shappi, Peyvand has written for the Evening Standard, Daily Mirror, Financial Times, Big Issue and He made his Edinburgh debut with a two hander in 2012 and is at present writing his new solo stand-up show.



Jules Oliver is a Brighton-based comedian with an Essex twang. She has been a finalist in 5 national new act competitions since starting and performs regularly all over the country.

Carly performed her 1st ever stand-up gig at the Comedy Cottage and she has gone from strength to strength since, appearing on the Rob Brydon Show, starring on various BBC and ITV shows (even hosted her own show) She also played the prestigious Hammersmith Apollo.

Alongside performing her much loved musical comedy, she successfully runs (alongside her comedy partner Alyssa Kyria) BYOB (Bring your own baby) comedy shows for new mums all around the UK. We are delighted to welcome back our cottage sweetheart.
