What safety measures have been put into place?
We have opened our cinema with extensive measures in place so that all our visitors and staff have a safe and enjoyable experience. These include:
- Social distancing throughout the building
- Distanced seating in the cinema
- Rigorous cleaning regimes
- Hand sanitiser stations available
- Contactless payments
- Perspex screens at the box office and kiosk
- Training and PPE for staff
- Strict hygiene arrangements for food and drink provision.
Watch our video to find out more about our safety measures.
Please note that it will be compulsory to wear a face covering in all indoor spaces, including cinemas, from Saturday 8 August.
What are the seating arrangements in the cinema?
Each booking is seated a minimum of two metres apart from other bookings. Members of the same household are able to sit together. A staff member directs customers in and out of the cinema in a socially-distanced manner.
How do I book tickets?
At the moment, tickets can only be booked via phone or in person, so that our box office staff can seat customers at a safe distance from each other. Call 01737 276500 to book your tickets. Our box office is open 10am-8pm seven days a week. Check out what's showing!
You can also visit our Box Office in person to book your tickets, during the Box Office opening hours.
At the point of booking, you may be asked about who you are booking with, to ensure that we comply with government guidelines. You will also be asked for your telephone number and postcode for Test and Trace.
What films are you showing?
We are showing a great range of films, from recent releases to old classics, with a few brand-new releases thrown in too! Find out more about what we're showing
Are you running any special offers?
We have cheap ticket deals on weekend mornings where tickets are just £4, and all day on Mondays and Tuesdays where tickets are £6.50.
And to say thank you to our wonderful critical workers who have worked so hard over the past months, we are offering them £5 tickets for unlimited screenings all the way through August. Just let our staff know when you phone to book, and bring ID (where possible, photo ID) that shows your place of employment with you.
Do I need to wear a face covering?
You are not currently required to wear a face covering to come to the cinema, though you are welcome to do so if you wish. However, from Saturday 8 August it will become compulsory to wear a face covering in all indoor areas, including cinemas.
When should I arrive?
Doors to the cinema will open 15 minutes before the advertised start time of the screening, please do not arrive before this time. Please note adverts are not guaranteed to play before the start of the film so we recommend arriving prior to the advertised start time.
Will food and drink be available to purchase?
We have a limited snack and drinks offer available at our kiosk. These are all pre-packed items and there is no self-service. Only contactless payments will be accepted. Our main cafe is not currently open.
Will you still accept my Harlequin loyalty card?
We are continuing with the Harlequin loyalty card scheme, and are able to stamp your card without touching it.
Can I still use the lift and accessible toilets?
Yes - please just ask a member of staff.
I have tickets but I am / someone in my household is displaying Coronavirus symptoms. What should I do?
If you or someone in your household has any symptoms of Coronavirus, please do not visit the venue. Contact us and we will refund you your tickets. We reserve the right to ask anyone displaying symptoms, as well as anyone we believe to not be adhering to social distancing guidelines, to leave the venue immediately.
