The British Summer is almost here, time to get out for some outdoor entertainment.


The award winning Comedy Cottage in collaboration with the Harlequin theatre bring you a very special Comedy Cottage in the beautiful castle grounds of Reigate. Please ensure that you bring something to sit on and weather appropriate clothing. We hope for an Indian Summer day but it may become an unpredictable British Summer.


As always we have a smorgasbord line-up of TV, circuit, International stars alongside rising stars of the future that you can say you saw at the Cottage first.

This June we bring you a world class stellar line up for our 1st Castle Comedy Cottage.


Headlining for us a world class musical comedian and a Comedy Cottage audience favourite.

Musical Comedian/writer

Christian is a Perrier/Chortle Award winning international musical Comedian. 

He first moved into the world of comedy as Otis Lee Crenshaw’s [Rich Hall] guitar-wielding sidekick – a job which took him from Nottingham to Nashville, Tennessee. 

Now an international comedian he plays all the major comedy venues in the UK and the world. Christian blends stand-up with dynamic guitar/vocal abilities to relate his unique experience with a sharp wit, youthful energy and effortless charm – with the occasional snipe at histrionic rock bands, musical theatre and morose indie musicians.

He has written for and appeared on two series of ’That Was Then This Is Now’ (BBC Radio 2) as musical counterpart to Richard Herring and Emma Kennedy as well as giving his improvisation skills a regular outing on Rowland Rivron’s ’Jammin’ (BBC Radio 2) with Kim Wilde and Hazel O’ Connor


TV includes The Graham Norton Show & Late Night with Conan O’Brien.

Dana began her comedy career at the age of 18 years old in Canada. Before long she began touring nationally at the prestigious YukYuks comedy clubs. She completed 5 television galas and several radio spots for major stations.

In 2011 Dana moved to the U.K. where she premiered her solo hour at The Edinburgh Festival for which she received rave reviews and nominations including Best Comic and Best International Act from Chortle and Black Comedy Awards.

Dana has featured on British television on programs such as “Question Team”, “Russell Howard’s Good News”, “Edinburgh Comedy Fest” and “The Culture Show”.
Her solo comedy special also aired in Canada’s popular Stand-up show “Comedy Now” and she has been named in the Top 10 Comedians 3 years running by NOW Magazine in Canada.

Dana has performed in more than 40 countries which include Bahrain, Dubai, Switzerland, Croatia, France, The Netherlands, Norway, Serbia, The Seychelles, Hungary, Malta, South Africa and more.
She has also performed for the British Armed Forces.

Half Russian, half Ukrainian comedian, based in the UK. 

Dimitri has quickly established himself as one to watch. In his first year as a stand up, he reached the finals of many of the big competitions including So You think you’re funny, Leicester Square Theatre, Laughing Horse and more. He was selected for the prestigious ‘AAA Late Show’ at the Edinburgh Festival.

Dimitri has performed internationally from Bangkok, to Beijing, Hong Kong to Moscow, Copenhagen to Oslo, Dublin and more.
