Practical tips for your outdoor theatre experience
Arrival time
The grounds will open at 5pm. Come and enjoy drinks in the sunshine from our onsite bar and delicious street food before the performance begins.
Show time
Show times vary, please check your tickets for further information and the web listings for approximate running times. The bar will remain open for a period after the performance ends.
What should I bring?
Bring something to sit on – a blanket, chair or cushion. Please be mindful of those sitting behind you and don’t bring sun umbrellas, gazebos etc.
Food and drink
There will be a full bar service offering a range of beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks. Please note, you are not allowed to bring your own alcohol into the event.
Our amazing food vendor Bhunnys BBQ will be serving delicious Greek street food, smash burgers, snacks and fries. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are available. Please take your litter home with you.
What happens if it rains?
The show will go on come rain or shine, so please bring clothing that will keep you warm and dry. If weather conditions are extremely adverse, the event may be moved to the Harlequin Theatre. This decision would be made the day before.
Ticket collection
We encourage you to choose print at home tickets, you can print these out or simply show us your ticket on your phone. There won’t be a facility to print out tickets at the event so if you choose the collection option please do this in advance from our Box Office. On arrival a member of the team will be there to check tickets and answer questions.
Are dogs allowed?
No dogs are allowed other than assistance dogs.
Getting here
Castle Grounds is in central Reigate. You can approach via steps from the High Street or the A25 and there is step-free access from the Town Hall on Castlefield Road. See the map below for the exact location.
Accessibility
There is level, step-free access via the Town Hall and the event is suitable for wheelchair users, although please note that the performance area is on grass. There will be an accessible portaloo available. Assistance dogs are welcome.
Facilities
There will be portaloos available at the event which will be cleaned regularly.
