Harlequin Outdoor Theatre returns this summer! This September we’ll be back in the Reigate Castle Grounds with The Duke’s Theatre Company to host their production of Shakespeare’s As You Like It.

The Duke’s return with As You Like It! Following acclaimed tours of Romeo and Juliet, A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Twelfth Night, Kevin Bennett, (Shakespeare’s Globe, Stratford Festival, Ontario) directs this brand-new production of Shakespeare’s most quoted comedy.  This As You Like It will live on in your memory “forever and a day”.

  • Parking – No parking on site and the venue is only accessible by foot. Guests are advised to arrive by foot, using the various parking options in and around Reigate Town Centre if required.
  • Seating  – There will be no designated seating, nor any seats. It’s an outdoor event and guests are encouraged to bring their own seats / picnic blankets
  • Directions/Getting here – The event will be held in Reigate Castle Grounds, Reigate, RH2 0AP
  • Run Time – 120 mins
  • Accessibility – Reigate Castle Grounds is fully accessible, with step-free access. However, guests should be made aware that access to the venue is steep in parts, and there is no parking on site. If required, there are a limited number of Disabled Parking bays in the Town Hall car park that blue badge-holding guests are welcome to use.
  • Toilets –  Mobile toilets will be provided on site at the entrance to Castle Grounds.
  • Food and Drink – A Full bar will be provided, keep and eye out on updates for a food vendor
  • Weather and Cancellations –  Outdoor events and will go ahead come rain or shine. Guests are advised to keep an eye on the weather forecast and dress appropriately for the conditions.Performances continue in light, intermittent and moderate rain. If rain is continually moderate for 20 minutes, or severe for 5 minutes, the performance will pause. If the total length of paused minutes totals above 30, the performance is cancelled owing to Force Majeure’.
